POMERLO
Pomerlo est un auteur compositeur et interprète (francophone/pop-world) originaire de Black-Lake, une petite ville minière du Québec. Depuis l’âge de 15 ans il a évolué au sein de formations musicales dont Operabong avec laquelle il a sillonné le Québec au début des années 2000.
Il amorce son projet solo en 2008 avec l’album Casa Voyageur qui est reçu par la critique comme un rayon de soleil. Il partage alors la scène avec des artistes tels que Jérôme Minière et les Cowboys Fringants.
En 2011, son opus Quartier populaire obtient une diffu- sion considérable dans les radios régionales et stations d’envergures telles que Sirius XM et Radio-Canada. Son vidéoclip Chanteur en Tournée est aussi ajouté à la rotation de Musimax.
En 2015, pour l’album Légende personnelle, Pomerlo se rend à Paris afin de travailler avec le réalisateur Dave Kynner, chef-d’orchestre de Tiken Jah Fakoly et récipiendaire de deux disques d’or. Il enregistre avec les sommités du reggae en France tels que David Jno Baptiste (Tiken Jah Fakoly, Alpha Blondy), Silvio Marie (Sergent Garcia, Ray Charles), Kandia Kora (Salif Keita), Ludovic D’Nollé (Magic System, Compagnie Créole). Il partage aussi un duo avec la grande chanteuse griotte, Safiata Condé.

Pomerlo is a singer and songwriter (French/pop-world) native of Black Lake, a small mining town in Quebec province (Canada). Since the age of 15 he was part of musical bands such as Opérabong with whose he toured Quebec in the early 2000s.
He began his solo project in 2008 with his album Casa Voyageur received by critics as a sunbeam. He had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Jérôme Minière and Les Cowboys Fringants. In 2011, his opus Quartier Populaire gets considerable broadcasting in the Quebec regions and major radio stations such as Sirius XM and Espace Musique. Several songs reach the top 1. His videoclip "Chanteur en tournée" is also added to Musimax channel.
For this third album, Pomerlo went to Paris to work with director Dave Kynner, leading musician of Tiken Jah Fakoly, award-winner of two gold records. Légende Personnelle comes as a breath of fresh air for the Quebec francophone genre with the unique blend of pop-world Pomerlo and collaboration of musicians with impressive roadmap (Fugees, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Alpha Blondy, The Wailers, Sergent Garcia, Ray Charles, Salif Keita...). He also performed in duo with the great African singer Safiata Condé.
